Life in the Fast Lane

A TRIATHLETE'S MULTISPORT ADVENTURES, TRAVELS, RANDOM MUSINGS, AND CHRONICLES OF HER OTHERWISE ORDINARY LIFE

An Attempt at Fashion Photography

My sister is done, done and done with the student life forever. Now that she's in the middle of job interviews, taking women-centric hiphop classes and teaching basic hiphop to teenagers, she's in shopping mode. One of her life's ambitions is to put up her own fashion empire (okay, fine; at least a business). In the meantime, she's been getting ideas from bazaars, consignments, and the worldwide web.

She's thinking about creating her own Lookbook account when she can document (which actually means when I'm free) more of her looks.

In the meantime, here are outtakes from yesterday's first attempt at street fashion photography. She put together her ensemble; I stood behind the camera and snapped away.

Hmmm. Maybe this could be a business that we sisters can get into someday.

Vest from MNG; tube top was from a secondhand shop; animal print top from a bazaar; bead necklace was a gift; floral ring from a bazaar; gold bangle from a bazaar; harem pants from a secondhand shop; leather shoes from Prima Donna; bag from Rockwell; round-framed glasses from Hong Kong.

  1. I love the entire ensemble of your sister's. Very boho, which is quite up my alley. She would fit well in Jakarta, as that's something many women wear around here. =)

  2. Hey, thanks, Marz! Sorry again for the late reply. I think that the boho look is a general trend all over Asia nowadays. It's awesome. :D
