Traffic

By 6:26 PM , , , ,

I write this while stuck in traffic along EDSA. So far, I've heard political jingles (please, not another one), an old local pop song sung by Vilma Santos and a slew of other old school songs. Also, I've counted the number of jerks on the road (5 now) who tried to either: a) overtake us; b) bump us; or, c) cause us to bump another car. Goodness gracious.

Metro Manila traffic is an indescribable experience, I'd like to think. It's a test of your patience and love for countrymen. Also, a test of your defensive driving skills. If you fail any of the aforementioned tests, chances are, you'll either be bumped or be forced to bump someone else. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Anyway, more about our traffic situation here (and my thoughts about the Philippines as a whole) in another post, possibly.
