Pizza-rific!

Now let me talk about something very close to my heart.



Food!

Or, in this case, pizza.

But let me just say this first: I am the last person you would expect to see in a kitchen. My mom is an awesome chef and baker and unfortunately, I didn't inherit any of her culinary genes. Let's just say that my "cooking" skills are limited to microwave or toaster use.

However, I am a big fan of food. I love smelling them, looking on as they are being prepared, and, needless to say, devouring them.

Pizza is one of my favorites for very simple reasons: 1) it has cheese, which I absolutely adore; 2) it's covered in tomato sauce, which I also love; 3) it doesn't take long to prepare (and, to be more specific, I can satisfy my pizza craving simply by dialing a 7-digit phone number); and, 4) to be completely succinct about it, it tastes freaking awesome.

Here's a side-by-side shot of two of my favorite pizza flavors. On the left, you've got thin slices of prosciutto (with just the right touch of saltiness, I might add), rich tomato sauce and mozarella. The one on the right is aptly called Quattro Formaggio — four cheeses consisting of mozzarella, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, and creamy cheese such as Robiola or Stracchino — which doesn't leave you with a nasty aftertaste (or umay, as we call it locally).

Mmmmmmmm...

If only I could have pizza every single day, I would. Seriously.
